About the Institute
The institute has been established and envisioned to promote education and research activities with regard to biodiversity conservation, medicinal plants identification, scientific validation of therapeutic claims, strategy for sustainable use and conservation of natural resources. The institute also focusses on training and awareness of the youths in the aspects of potential threats of the forest and wildlife and the importance of conservation of forest, wildlife and its associated ecosystem. The institute with the help of young energetic youths can potentially lead a way forward and educate more and more about the importance of conservation of the biological diversity through workshop, training programme, awareness programme, certificate and diploma courses.

The world today has been advancing towards development in different fields and these advancement goes parallel to the degradation of its environment. The current knowledge of the importance of forest, environment and wildlife used to be in far wide and depth for people all over the world.
The Institute of Biological Sciences provides a platform to learn the practical knowledge of the forest biodiversity and the corresponding relation with wildlife. The institute serves to provide certificate and diploma courses with respects to field botany, identification of medicinal plants, conservation of forest, wildlife and it’s associated ecosystem.
