Encourage collaborative research activities and partnership with other institutions, organizations, etc. nationally and internationally.
Encourage research activities that directly or indirectly could address the problems of the society.
Promote education with regard to community, forest & wildlife and their interrelation; traditional therapeutic system using wild medicinal plants, etc.
